“Color is my day-long obsession, joy, and torment.”
You never know unless you try. I am not the best in art but I like to do it to relieve stress. I may post more of it here. Don’t be afraid of others. You are you, not them. Dare to stand out.
It is amazing to see the community come together when a disaster happens or someone is in need. Remember to ask for help if you need it. People can only help if they hear your distress call.
“There is an alchemy in sorrow. It can be transmuted into wisdom, which, if it does not bring joy, can yet bring happiness.”
― Pearl Buck
Invisible illnesses do not have to hold you back from living your life one day at a time.
Life can throw you curve-balls. That is when you find your most surprising strength. It will be hard, and trials will come.
Much like a wave crashes to shore, and recedes again; life can come in waves. At times it is well above our heads, other times it barely reaches our ankles, yet we survive.
Life is not easy, but we survive until we live.
Sometimes, your mind can “float” or drift away.
The “tainted” mind, the mind that is becoming “numbed”, or the mind that “floats” away from pain. You’re all equally beautiful.
All misunderstood by those that don’t experience their point of view from the outside-looking-in.
Always remember that you are beautifully human and valid as well. It doesn’t matter what society says.
Invisible to the naked eye doesn’t mean it is invalid. Take time to heal, not for others but for yourself.
Remember that it is ok to fall short sometimes, it is ok to make mistakes, and it is ok to admit that you are having a hard time; because all of that is what makes you strong.
There are clouds, and yet the sun still shines through. It radiates as if it is smiling over everything under its rays.
Even on the cloudier of days, your sun will still shine through; so look up.
What sunshine is to flowers, smiles are to humanity. These are but trifles, to be sure; but scattered along life’s pathway, the good they do is inconceivable.
